I spent over 8 years working at Google managing global teams focused on building equitable HR and people processes, coaching senior leaders on making investments in organizational culture to retrain great employees, upskilling employees on inclusive hiring processes, investing in equitable talent development through learning and development programs and launching programs to further Google’s overall diversity and inclusion goals.
During my tenure at the company, I also worked on projects related to employee relations, benefits and HR operations. My time at Google gave me incredible training on how to launch programs at a global scale, manage complex stakeholders at the most senior levels, solve problems using systems-level thinking and make data-driven decisions.
Both in and outside of my professional career, I have committed my life to uplifting and supporting causes that matter to me.
After leaving Google, I worked on Stacey Abrams’ campaign for Governor of Georgia where I managed operations for the field team, led LGBTQ+ community outreach and launched a hiring and onboarding program for paid campaign mobilizers.
Additionally, I dedicate a portion of my summers to working at Brave Trails, an LGBTQ+ leadership camp dedicated to helping queer youth find their people, their place and their passion.
I’ve also volunteered my time with a variety of cause-based organizations including Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), The Trevor Project and AIDS/LifeCycle.
Prior to Google, I began my career in the film industry, working for an Executive Producer at Participant Media, a media organization dedicated to creating entertainment that inspires audiences to engage in positive social change.
I have performed in drag as Mary Lou Pearl since 2017, and I use drag as a tool to entertain, educate, raise money and spread positivity.
I hold bachelor's degrees in International Business, Finance and Entertainment & Media Studies from the University of Georgia.
